“Anything in life worth having is worth working for ” Without exception, all in all, long and yearn for peace, joy and a lovely life. No one on earth is otherwise because God has created us so. We have to work for what we are looking for, but sincerely-Work while you have the light, knowledge, energy and health. You are responsible for the talents and gifts given/entrusted to you. You have the freedom to bury them or discover and multiply them, use them well, positively.

There is nothing in the entire world as satisfying as a task well done. There is no reward as pleasing as that which comes with the mastery of a difficult problem. All of us know too well-life, is not a bed of roses, and one must work hard to earn the living, peaceful living. We are certain of one thing-we have only one life to life, to love and be loved, then why should we fan hatred, dislike, prejudice and other evils in society? The best answer is true human education. This principle is the basis with which we undertake the education here at St. Joseph’s, Greater Noida. St. Joseph our Patron Saint, is known as silent hard worker, who tended all the needs of Nazareth family by the sweat of his brow being renowned carpenter. We learn the way of hard work inculcate the same in our students. When so many others cut corners, share truth, self-deal, believe in the fast bucks and follow the crowd along the low road of least resistance, can we ever afford to travel the high of ethical behavior? Frankly, we cannot afford anything else.

All human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature, compulsions, habit, reason, passion and desire. Our Mission, Futuristic goal and our action plan ought to have purified intention and sincere application, keeping in mind three rules of work:

• Out of clutter, find simplicity.
• From discord, find harmony.
• In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity.

By the choices and actions, we create the person that we are.

By the choices and actions of our lives we give to the world, where in we live our lives, hoping that our neighbours will find our contributions to be of worth, and hoping that the world will be a little more gracious of our time in it.

We exhort and solicit this human effort and this human education, aptitude in all our students and parents. Our student’s efforts in this direction are reflected in these pages in nutshell and in the pages of their life every day. May God be praised, honored and glorified through the life of our children and of our own. When live and skill work together, expert a masterpiece. We are all the masterpiece of the Creator.

But what minutes! Count them by sensation and not by calendars, and each moment is a day. And we register time past with little memory, that is indelible mark left by time on us, on our children and on the institution. Time is the coin of our life. It is the only coin we have, and only we can determine how it will be spent. We ought to be careful lest we let other people spend it for us. Again the time has been precious pearl in the lives of our children they have amassed enough and more, room for improvement, space for admiration and appreciation and some solid footage for future growth. We proudly present the pages of History made, moments of glory and achievements which are presented hereby in this Annual Magazine for one and all.

The scenario of all things: Be it of education, polity, economy, weather or anything under the sun, you name it, has been changing drastically. Can we remain mere spectators? There are three types of categories people around us in the world.

1. People who make things happen.
2. People who watch things happen.
3. People who do not know what’s happening.

Our ardent effort has always been, and will be of reaching our children into the first category /type of people. It’s possible when we all come together with all our might, with right strokes at the right time, right place and right students irrespective of caste, colour and creed. Only one relation must reign supreme in our heart and mind ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. As every morning is the symbol of rebirth of our life time, so we must forget yesterday’s bad moments, and make today beautiful.

From time immemorial, the struggle to reach perfection, to reach/attain preternatural gifts, continues even in the in the present perhaps, with optimum held high, we are able to say its possible….! Our aim is to make, love and charity the root and foundation of ours and our children’s life.

With contradiction in society loud and clear, the dichotomy of human life caught in the web of life, the human’s education seems to be losing its meaning and ardour. International and Global,wi-fi,hi-fi schools blow the trumpets so loud while real and truthful , meaningful education seem to have no takers. Where our conscience tells us we can no longer travel the same road with friends or family, how do we deal with this situation? We ardently pray;’Lord, may your fire bring light where there is darkness and warmth where there is coldness, May it always purify us and never destroy us!

In his last speech before he was assassinated, Martin Luther King, as if he had a premonition of death, spoke about his funeral. He said: “If you get somebody to deliver the eulogy, tell him not to talk too long. Tell them not to mention that I have three or four hundred awards. That’s not important….. Tell them … that Martin Luther King, Jr. tried to love somebody. I want you to say on that day that I tried to love and serve humanity.” His life was loud enough to show that he tried to make, love and charity’ the root and foundation of his life. Paradigm of education should not be polarized with global and international with wi-fi,hi-fi system but rather to see when the evening of life comes, have we have fared with our children in the mths of education we will be judged by love.

Every milestone achieved/sung must be maped by the above attitudes and surrender. “God gives every bird its food, but he doesn’t throw it in its nest.” Says Josiah Holland. Accept the role that is to be played, to deliver the message as per design and plan of God and the song to be sung as he wills and ordains. We do all we can the best and God will do the rest. St. Joseph’s family at Greater Noida inculcates and leads every student and teacher to say this prayer every day,
